Rishikesh, a place cherished by adventure fanatics, is the ideal choice for Bungee jumping. This place is equipped with just the right framework necessary to raise your heartbeats.International coaches amongst the wilderness will ensure a breath-taking experience.
For those who aren’t aware about the sport, Bungee jumping is a sport being practiced since the 20th century, and has evolved with time. The sport requires an elastic cord tied around a person, professionally from a height; after the preparation the person is supposed to jump from the platform (platform can be natural or artificially prepared). The catch is that the ‘elastic cord’ recoils and oscillates due to the force. This process continues till all the energy dispels, sending in a gush of excitement and fear among the Jumpers.
Jumping heights(the jumping platform in Rishikesh) is constructed on a rocky hill and faces one of the tributaries of River Ganga i.e. Hall.

It is believed that taking a dip in the holy water can wash away one’s sins and purify their soul to attain salvation. One can sit at peace, be a part of the prayers, bhajans and mantras they chant. It is very difficult to say when the tradition started but it has gained popularity among tourists and pilgrims with time.
